Nicholas Sparks’ books, famous for featuring locations across North Carolina, have been adapted into some of the most popular romantic dramas of the past decade. When his novel, The Longest Ride, was being developed for film, we were thrilled to find that the producers had fallen in love with the Yadkin Valley and were scouting locations in our area.
The Mitchell River House provided the perfect setting for the film and we are proud to be prominently featured throughout the movie.
